Angry 1978 Ford F-250 Starter Help

I need some help if anyone has a for sure answer for me. I bought a '78 F-250 a few months ago and it began having starting issues. I looked and noticed the fly wheel ring gear was chewed up. Dropped the transfer case, transmission and the bellhousing. Got the clutch out of the way and took the flywheel off. Had the new 180 tooth ring gear put on and flywheel resurfaced. Started to put it all back together, but I was seeing some websites saying that the starters for a manual and an automatic transmission were different. I just bought a new starter from O'Reilly's, but their computers don't say one way or the other about it. I've looked on NAPA's website and they show different starters, but mainly specifies for the Windsor. I'm tired and pissed off at looking and need some help lol
****Does anyone know if the starters for a 351M are different for a manual and an automatic transmission?****

I don't believe the starters were different between a stick and auto.
