Slave cylinder clip

I fixed the transmission problems a previous "mechanic" made. I've also fixed a bunch of other issues I didn't know the truck had. What was a couple of days worth of work turned into two weeks. Granted, weather had a bit to do with that. There was a bundle of 6 wires that were snipped and twisted back together. No tape or insulation at all.

Any way, the truck is a 1994 F150 with the Mazda 5 speed transmission. Unhooking the line to the slave cylinder was fun. Instead of a clip, a home made "thing" held the line to the slave cylinder. I'd like to find the clip that goes in there. Anybody know the name of that clip? I don't like to do jack leg repairs. It's working, but seeping fluid.

Well, I finally got it together. I tried to use the "thing" the previous person to work on the truck used but could never get it in there right. Now, I never throw anything away and will sometimes make a part. I got to looking at the old slave cylinder and started messing with it. The replacement turned out to be a body part. A 1/8 inch body shim fits right in there. It also has a little bitty hole that mechanics wire will go through so it's got a safety wire holding it in place. No give on the line so that's taken care of.

Now, I just need to get the air out of the system. I miss the old clutch arm system. The last slave cylinder I replaced was nowhere near this difficult to get bled.
