Well, I had mine at the range a couple of years ago to sight in before a hog hunt. It was a small DNR range with two 100yd lanes. I was banging them out.

My other-100yd-lane-buddy and I went to swap targets. Just as we were approaching the targets, he asked whether I was just out there for kicks. I said that I was prepping for a hunt.

Looking at my target, he said, "Well, if it's anything larger than a chipmunk, you'll do okay."

I think that was my favorite shooting compliment.

All of that said... I - sadly - don't own a M1 Garand. I would like one. My dad had one. Just before he passed away, he gave it to my brother. I got the M1 carbine.

Not complaining. ...but that Garand would've been schweeet.

That's interesting. I didn't know that they had use in those levels. Thanks.

Jim Shockey uses T/C Venture, Dimension, and Encore. I believe they also sponsor his show.

I was getting gas (in my car) today on my way to the range. There was a guy inside open carrying what looked to be a .45. Big frame. He wasn't LEO. Just some schmoe in shorts and a t-shirt.

I was carrying too - but concealed. I'm not much on open carry. ...at least, for me. If people want to do it, it's fine.

What got me here, though, was he kept looking around at people and then down at his holster to see if everyone was noticing that he was carrying.

Zero-to-douchie in 9.6 seconds.

Yep and if an armed robbery happened, he'd be the first guy to have a gun shoved in his back. I'll pass on open carry, concealed for me no one needs to see it unless I need it. Then they might see the laser marking where the hole is getting ready to appear.

I've been looking around at magazine pouches/holders, came across this company today.

It's called snagmag, looks like this conceals well with easy access.

Have a look, and give me your thoughts.

That's exactly what I have been looking for!! I have belt mag carriers, but hate the bulky ness and would rather have a mag in my pocket but not bouncing around, and they have a ton of brand support!! Thanks for spending my money!

The sh!t they pulled in Illinois, then blamed on the IFAL that coincidently, main office is in Springfield's corporate office and the phone number also goes to their building. Basically they directly wanted to infringe on 2nd amendment rights to make more money and then it backfired so they went on a huge PR scam to "apologize" and then started offering "sweet deals" to attract people back to them. Until the Owner and CEO are out of Springfield and new management is in that actually cares about 2nd amendment rights and customer they can f**k off! I now don't own one piece of Springfield crap.
