Weight reduction = remove truck bed, all doors, cut the roof off, swap to smaller axles, ditch the diesel engine. Better yet, just start with a Toyota since that's much smaller.

You can contact Diesel Bros in Utah (and Discover Channel) to get a 6x6 conversion too. Make sure it's EPA compliant.
