Smoked some brisket Saturday for Fathers Day, Somehow smoking and grilling does not feel like work, it therapeutic and delicious!!!!

Time to bump this thread back up

I smoked 3 racks of ribs today. 3-2-1 for me as well with some brown sugar and honey in the foil. I tried out the John Henry's Texas Pig Rub for the first time, and i'll definitely be using it again! Went with 1/2 and 1/2 Hickory and Pecan. Should have taken pictures LOL

Prepping two chickens for the smoker tomorrow. Hit em with EAT BARBECUE sweet rub tonight then hit em tomorrow with sugar maple wood chunks and a few pieces of cut up jack Daniels whiskey barrels. I'll pair it with some homemade mac&cheese and a piece of my wife's apple pie....then the big nap on the recliner

So I put myself on this nonsense no carb diet so I can drop enough weight to get my fatal back on my elliptical machine without blowing out my knees. So I made some BBQ sauce with no carbs that is strangely the best rib sauce I've had. So I've got 2 racks of rubbed pork ribs on the 3-2-1 smoke deal and a Boston butt for good measure. Hitting them with cherry wood on the old Oklahoma Joe!

Okay, not zero but 1 gram per serving instead of 16. No sugar added ketchup, allegro hot and spicy marinade, apple cider vinegar, Splenda natural stevia sweeter, badia Jamaican jerk seasoning and a few flakes from a dried ghost pepper my boss gave me. Adjust ingredient measurements according to taste...I can't give all the info away
