Lets vote on which product has higher demand on here, I am going to put a minimum entry this time so there are more than a handful of members. There was 100-200 entries on the "Other Manufacture" forums so I know we can do better this time when is a SCT or Edge Insight to win.

Post and tell us which product you would like to win...

SCT X3 or Edge Insight CS
Hi Dave,

That's too bad the other draw was cancelled

What is the minimum amount of entries?

When is the draw date?

If there's not enough entries will the contest be cancelled again?

As Joel asked are our entries from the previous draw in the new draw?

As for which one... I'd have to go with the Edge Insight CS because my truck is a 7.3 and the SCT X3 Power Flash Programmer listed is for a 6.0.

The SCT Tuner works on the 7.3L

My goal here is to encourage members to join the BC chapter, what if I offered a n SCT or Edge Insight or even a BC Diesel Credit for the member that recruits the most new members before a certain date. Doing a give-away with 5 people is defeating the purpose.

I will be doing a public give-away shortly as well that is for the entire forum not just the BC Chapter... watch for it!

I agree with you Dave that it would be great to have a stronger showing in the BC section of the org. However, I don't know that I see it happening.
I have probably 8 acquaintances the have modded SuperDuty trucks, but not one of them has any interest in being a part of this or any forum. Their trucks are more of a secondary hobby to all of them.
Seems to be the norm around here.

If you're at dyno day, say hi to me. I'll be the guy with an awesome mustache and a 4 year old with me.

Wick, have fun hunting man! I was away a couple weekends ago and got a nice one.

The rules keep changing???

This may eliminate me from the draw but at this point I have to say something.

You posted the original contest and the rules. It was not the fault of the entrants into the contest that there where so few entrants.

Then when it did not suit you... you go back on your word and change the rules

It makes my blood boil when people do that

It definitely not instill confidence in bringing my truck to you when the rules keep changing.

It starts with the members, I am vice president of a BC chapter on another forum that has a good number of participating members with lots of discussion. We did the exact same give-away that went very well. I know this chapter is lacking members but its not going to grow by it self.

I understand that a lot of diesel owners have better things to do than spend time on a diesel chat forum but if you look at the stats most member join because they had an issue, searched for a solution on the web and ended up a message board such as Powerstroke Diesel. As the owner of a diesel repair shop 75% of the people that come in say "I was on a chat forum and read that...."

I can not see how trying to grow the BC Chapter can come across as negative to some but I apologies if I offended anyone. I would like to ad that I did not retract the give-away. I offered to extend it with a better product and I am open to any suggestion on what that product should be and what the "rules" should be.

I am not a event organizer, just a diesel enthusiast so if you have any suggestions on how you all would like to see us give away free products, we are all ears. There will be a product, possibly products given away here as it grows and it will, like it or not LOL. If you think about it this chapter has seem more discussion in the last week than it has in months, possibly ever.... so its already working!

What I don't want is someone to win a product that has no interest in it or supporting the chapter.
