01 7.3 Need Help!

My 7.3 is having a few issues. The turn signals do not work(hazards does). Speedometer doesn't work (RPM does). No cruise control and the overdrive light is flashing. I have check all fuses. Anyone seen this before or know where to start? Got a P0603 code.

I'll take a crack at one of the issues. You have a vehicle speed sensor or VSS on top of the rear differential. Replace that and you should be good to go. Your symptoms support this i.e. no speedo, OD flashing and no cruise control. I would go with a Motorcraft and make sure you solder and heat shrink the new pigtail.

This is what the code is:
P0603 Internal Control Module KAM Error

Check to see if there is a fuse for that?

Double check the fuse diagram. I had the same problem when I brought my first 7.3. When i brought the truck the last person had a jump wire for the ac compressor which made everything work. It took me 2 months to find out that the fuse box wasn’t making a good connection to the fuse.

KAM error is common (and nothing wrong) due to battery disconnect or chip installed
