I think as long as everything is tight it's the steering shaft itself. I've heard of a few people putting a new steering shaft on and it made a huge difference.

What brand did you guys go with? I'm in the same boat and need to replace mine soon. I've heard of having to get a ported hydroboost if you go with a redhead box. Also, what brand pump to go with? I was looking at AGR but then read some less than appealing reviews about them.

I used vision from my fiance's work and it works good. The redhead box is a direct for with no mods needed
