KC turbo wastegate setting?

I am getting a KC300x 63/73/.84 turbo on my truck. Anyone know what the wastegate is set at and if I need to adjust it? My wastegate actuator is currently unhooked and I plan on leaving it like that.

Good idea in theory but I always forget to call them during the hours that they are open, I guess I could try emailing them.

Just figured most will probably offer their opinion based on googeling or experience but hearing from the manufacturer who designed it may give you the best info etc.

I have the same turbo. When I got it I called Charlie and he said the red hose is supposed to be unhooked.
