Largest injector for kc38r with .84?

What would be the largest injector for a kc38r with a .84? Looking for a good tow injector.

From what I understand you can run anywhere from stock to 238/80 injectors with that turbo.

Well I would love to tell you but my truck has been down for a couple months for some body work, paint, and some other upgrades so I haven't driven it since I put the injectors in. I hope to get it back together in a few weeks depending on my schedule, they sound good at idle.

You will have to let us know when you get it back on the road. I would like to know how a PIS 160/30 compares to a full force 180/80

I will be writing a review on my Detroit locker, injectors, and PMF traction bars soon.

250/200 is the max with this turbo...

Just something to ponder though.... Dieselsite made 600hp with the gtp38r and the ww2. kC38r is by far a superior turbo than the stocker.

It really depends on how you drive your truck and it's use.

Lower AR spools quicker off the line, but will run out of air on the top end. Higher AR spools slower, but you gain top end.

Handshaker transmissions can be better suited with the .84 even with larger injectors due to you loosing boost between shifts, so the smaller housing helps you recover power quicker.

Tire size and gearing also make a difference.

It really boils down to how you drive your truck and the mods it has.

Largest injector for kc38r with .84?

I think btwn the .84 and the 1.0 I went with the 1.0 b/c of top end. Was afraid the .84 would be restrictive if I wanted larger sticks. I believe you wonít lose much and more to gain with the 1.0
