I just checked what you posted with the VIN# from my insurance card and it doesn't seem to match up. For instance, my first 3 digits are 3FT which I don't see there and according to my VIN#, my truck has the 6.8L V10 which is obviously not the case.

So, is my VIN# wrong, is this information incorrect, or has my truck been changed before I bought it? Inquiring minds...

3FT means your truck was built in Mexico = complete vehicle.
What's your vin# leave off the last 6 digits?

It sure sayes your truck is 2001 F-250 Crew cab 4x4 6.8 V10 built in Cuautitian, Mexico
Did you check the vin # on the truck itself? Sometimes things get misread.

Those specs are all correct except for the engine. I'm at work now, but I'll check the number on the truck when I get home(its not my daily driver).

Well, I just got home and checked the truck. Turns out the VIN# on my insurance card is incorrect. I'm pretty sure that number came from the title so I'm guessing its incorrect too. Strange. Anyway, the only difference is the 8th and 9th positions so looks like it is a PSD afterall.
