Today, I took Old Blue out of the garage for the first time since July 2018 and hauled a bag of dog food over to the animal shelter. Stopped by the local Ford Dealer & let the salesmen think I was interested in ordering a new F250 & trading this one in (I love to mess with their heads) After that I ran into town and picked up a 6 pack of Mt Dew. backed it into it's assigned stall in the garage & plugged the battery maintainer back in. Probably won't come back out of the garage until next summer.

After todays run, the odometer is showing 29,815 miles & in Feb 2020, she will be 20 years old. Still looks like it did the day they backed it off of the transport truck.

^^^ Good to see ya on Neil!!!

Took the truck over to get is SMOG'd. It showed the computer was "Not Ready." I had work done 2 weeks ago (including batteries). Apparently, the P1000 hadn't cleared. He told me to go drive for a couple of hours. So, 2.5 hours / 150 miles later, I went back. It passed. Paid $347 for the registration + the $60 for the test & $8.95 for the certificate. Yay!! The guy looked @ me funny when I said I'd see him in 2 years!

Ya know there are free states you can live in that wouldn't cost so much to own a truck. Or see your taxes going toward illegal alien's healthcare

I've heard rumors about this great land you speak of but thought it was too good to be true.

As far as what I did, replaced my chip & got Tunes redone to accommodate the adrenaline HPOP. less smoke & more power.

If you ever need the instructions on how to clear the codes without driving for a couple of hours, I have them. My friend that used to work for Gridley Country Ford gave them to me. It takes about 10 minutes on a country road.

Just got my registration renewal in the mail today....$85.60 for the upcoming year for Old Blue.

Nice 4.5hr round trip to Norwalk, OH to watch the NHRA Summit Nationals with Grandpa (my dad), dad (me), and my son. It was nearly 30yrs ago to date that my dad took me when I was my son's age.
Great time, but my face, forearms, and knees got burnt. LOL.

Took a 400+ trip to pick up my utility trailer from my brother, had a scary few minutes when I had a loud knocking sound from under the hood sounded like a injector was not happy. First thing I thought was great they don't like the new EightySixd spring and the added pressure, then I thought they are 299K old, I'm 250+ miles from home. I listen to the truck for the return trip home and she ran great, I do notice that the exhaust sound is different, I'm guessing its the 86 spring because she is idling so smooth.

Did I mention I rolled 299K, 800 to go for the big 300

Replaced the ICP sensor and pigtail. Never want to deal with butt connectors again.

Anyone know what a good icp number is after installing a new one. Edge CTS is saying 640psi at idle.
