I like the look of black on exhaust. if your exhaust is mostly rust free scuff it up and high temp that thing. If you have rust it could just add a few years of protection. That's just me though.

Dropped off the truck at the shop to get the driver's side Glow Plugs replaced. Was throwing a P0678. The same side UVCH was replaced 4 years ago. 2 years ago, just before SMOG was due, the passenger UVCH toasted on me. When that was replaced, I had them replace the GPs while they were in there. After I get it back this time, I have to de-program it and drive it to clear the P1000 code. Then get it SMOG'd.

Replaced my stock HPOP with an Adrenaline HPOP, replaced the HPOP lines & fittings with a larger ID hose to provide more oil flow, resealed the IPR, Resealed the fuel bowl. All just preventative. did notice a little bit of throttle response and just running a little bit better with the Adrenaline but nothing too insane. I'm using it to feed 180/80's and they say the larger the injectors the bigger the gains.

I keep looking at that MBRP black pipe to put on my truck. As much as I love the way it looks, i can't really justify the cost for something that mostly won't ever be seen.

Pulled apart all my door panels finally to track down why my GEM keeps tripping out and disabling my windows, locks, wipers, heater controls, etc.

Long story short, DO NOT MIX AND MATCH door switches from newer doors to older trucks. They are reverse polarity and mess up the GEM. What happens when you have a normally open door switch for your dome like and lets say the truck had a normally closed switch for the dome, and with the doors open, you have power to both your power wire (normally always has power) into the main driver door switch panel and power on the ground circuit (WTF???). So when you hit any button on the window up or down, it shares the ground that "has power" and trips out the GEM for about 15min or so. Since I though I was ok with the new door switches I threw away all the old plugs when I spliced in the new plugs to match the old body harness with the new door switches and window regulators. Ugh....Charlie Brown. LOL. A friend of mine has a Superduty salvage yard and is sending me the wiring out of a crew cab to splice back in with the correct plugs.

Big thanks to @djmaguire for picking up the phone on a nice Sunday afternoon to help run through Ford wiring diagrams with me.

I'm going to get some high temp black paint, I don't like the look now that I've looked at the picture some more.

Installed a new 4way and rv trailer plug in the truck. The oem one was metal/falling apart. Got the parts from retailer fir cheap and finally did it.

The 4way is horizontal/under the rv round that way I’m not fishing the 4way from under the bumper all the time
