Had something weird happen this weekend. On Friday I went to start it after it sat for a week. It cranked good and went to start then back fired through the intake and I had a lot of smoke bellowing out of the hood. Cranked again. Did it again. Cranked once more and ran fine. Drove it up to the ski area and stayed the night Saturday. Yesterday I was leaving and was driving home I killed it at a stop light (wasn't anywhere near being warmed up and let the clutch out too fast). So I went to restart it again and it just cranked and cranked them fired. But it left a huge cloud of white smoke when it fired. Feels like it has a leaking injector or a shorted wire and it's firing at the wrong time.
This sucks. I have to tear into sometime but I'm so busy this next month that it will just have to sit.

Been having a blast owning my new to me 1999.5 f350 7.3. Lariat

Spent the first week fixing a bunch of valley oil and fuel leaks.

This past weekend installed a 7way trailer hookup and trailer brake. (Never had one in before) Fixed front wheel wells from new tires rubbing. Adjusted rear bumper and tightened up the door latches.

Such a fun truck. Loving every minute of it.
