Any recommendations from the experts

Finally finishing my build of a 2000 F350. Mods are a 38r. Cold air and 5" exhaust, dorsey stage 2 tranny, 238/80 injectors with php custom tunes, raptor 150 4g hp fuel pump, sinister diesel hutch mod with pre pump filter, high flow banjo bolts with CVC replacement from riff raff, high pressure oil and fuel crossover, head studs, and coolant filtration system, am I missing anything or any other recommendation from the experts?

not a bad setup.
not a fan of raptor but hopefully your pleased.

know for sure what rods you have?
if PMR then I wouldn't do anything and hope you've got conservative tuning.
IF forged, then i'd go T4 S369 and upgrade to 250s. I enjoyed my 66mm/238s setup but I REALLY loved the 69 and 250s even more

better check the inspection port to be 100% positive. the codes have proven to be inaccurate

had 2 fail on my truck back in my 7.3 days, couple more between my circle of friends back when we were building power and competing.

I switched to Irate for his comp fuel system and never looked back. But that's been a few years ago, things change

Not sure if you have the Doresy or not but if you don't have it yet, I'd recommend you move to a Sam Wyse

@[email protected] can shed some light on Sam.

Im not a fan of the Raptor pumps either. Only AirDog product I have been happy with is the AD II 4G. Its been flawless for myself for over a year now and maintains pressure for my 230/100's, and I have a handful of customers running 250's with it and no issues.

As for the Dorsey trans...all I can say is I hope what you paid for is actually inside the trans, and you actually got the HD converter. Local shop to me has had a handful of his transmissions and not a single one of them had parts inside for what was advertised versus what they paid for. Frustrating for the customer.

The Garrett 38R will do ok with those sticks, but backpressure will be pretty high under a heavy foot. EGT's will be on the high side compared to a KC Turbo 66/73 or a BW s366 or 369sxe.

I just had a customer dyno 603hp and 1194tq with 238/100 and the KC38R along with a stage 2 Colt Cam. Pretty impressive for a drop in charger. The shop with the dyno asked what T4 charger it had and they could not believe it was a drop in.

Corey that is impressive for a drop in turbo. What intake/exhaust was on that truck? What supporting fuel mods?

I had a long convo with the builder at dorsey fingers crossed. Is their any way to tell on the converter and input shaft before the install? I'm a fairly novice mechanic but I have help from a buddy who owns a shop. I put the gt38r in over a year ago I was looking at the kc might be kicking myself now! Is their any benefit to putting in a aftermarket wheel like a WW or batmo? The raptor came reccomended from a few friends what was your issues with them?

Where is this inspection port you speak of? Not familiar with it. I've got a 2000, which in theory should have forged rods, but I'd certainly like to make sure.
