F650 lower dash

I have been working on the f650 lower dash mod. I purchased a switch plate with the gauge hole from Riffraff. My question is the gauge hole is a little to big for the gauge. Is there some sort of trim ring that goes in it? I will call them on Monday to see what the deal is, they are just closed today. Oh I am installing isspro gauges that I purchased from them also. All in all I am very pleased in how itís turning out. Just got to figure this mounting plate out.

So I talked to Riffraff today and clay told me the gauge hole is sized for the autometer bezel that puts the gauge on an angle. So that makes sense to me. They didnít have it on the website, but said he would put it up there. So I hope this helps anyone who runs into this same issue I did.

F650 lower dash

The color isnít an exact match, but to be expected for 20 years of sun fade. For some reason the color looks way worse in the photo than out in the sun

My truck has Air-Lift rear spring assists that I installed years ago for the PO when he got his Airstream. Now that the truck is mine and I don't tow or haul heavy, I almost never use them, but they still function and hold air so I've left them in. The controls are mounted to the front of this panel, and while I've covered the tubing and wires with split-loom, it still looks like azz, especially from the passenger door open or back seat. There are some other holes drilled in this panel as well. I hate holes in things.

This looks like I could transfer all the Air-Lift stuff into the center switch/gauge panel, and nothing would be exposed any longer. Thanks for the pics and the food for thought. I'll check it out on RiffRaff's site.

Thanks for posting.

F650 lower dash

Riffraff no longer has the lower dash piece on their site. But I got everything else from them. KT performance is where I got the dash piece from. I have purchased a lot of stuff over the years from Riffraff and honestly I have never been disappointed. Price is usually good, shipping has been fast and when I had a question I called and talked to clay he was very helpful.
