Replacing valve cover gaskets on 2000 F250

I am going to be replacing the o-rings on the turbo and was thinking about replacing the valve cover gaskets because of the horror stories about the old style. Do you guys know if the Ford replacement gaskets have improved? Thanks Guys

I believe the newer ford ones snap together better than the older ones, so you don’t have a need for the “50 cent mod.”

I just replaced mine when I did injectors and they are a huge improvement.

If you are replacing the valvecover gaskets PLEASE replace them and the under the valve cover harness with oem or international parts. I got mine from riffraff diesel performance for a great price when I replaced glow plugs. You put dorman or other parts tore brands in there and you're going to have a engine bay fire.
