Center Cap Quality Opinions Wanted

I just acquired another F250 without hub center caps. On ebay there are some aftermarket center caps for $50 including shipping. Are these any good? Do they stay on the axles or do they fly off after some time? On all the trucks I have had over the years, the factory ford caps have stayed on, but the price is reasonable for these aftermarket ones for this new to me truck.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/4-Chrome-FO...kAAOSwh-1W30Cb

Opinions on the caps from people that have actually bought them.

Something I just noticed is the aftermarket caps only have 4 stamped metal retainers on each cap that grip the lug nuts versus the ford caps that have 8 full plastic grippers cap. Do those 4 stamped metal pieces stay sturdy enough to keep the cap on?

Horizon, do you own a set of aftermarket caps I am asking about? Judging from your comment, probably not. This is why I asked for opinions from people who actually bought them and can give, if willing, a positive or negative review on the quality of the product from ownership.

Without a link NO ONE will know which set you are talking about... there are only THOUSANDS of aftermarket cap manufactures out there. My experience has been bad with aftermarket caps on multiple types of vehicles. I would BUY OEM. I still have the original caps on my 1999 F250 with some minor scuffs but they have never even been loose, vs aftermarket caps on my 2005 6.0L, Toyota pickups/cars/ jeeps/ blazers have always flown off. Just my experience but I would look at a junk yard or craigslist not many people keep oem wheels so I see caps all the time for cheap etc.

Our farm has 4 different Super duties, total over 1,000,000 miles without issues on OEM center caps.
ALSO another 5 semi's that probably combine close to 8,000,000 miles.
OEM caps are worth the cost

I would still encourage you to use oem personally. Im 99% sure my caps have the little metal spring retainers on all 8 lugs vs the four on the aftermarket but I'll have to look tonight. My experience shows I loose an after market hubcap fairly quickly even if I stick a dab of rtv on one or two of the lugs before pushing it on. But my oems have 20 yrs of holding.

I assume its the casting and quality of OEM being balanced and the glue/metal retainer quality though.
