Looking to do new wheels an tires but i have dumb questions

I have a dually but i'm looking to do a 16x10 in the front. I like the look of using a regular wheel in the front but using regular dually wheels in the back.

I was looking at these for the rear and then getting something like this for the front.

Essentially i want to take off the front adapter and just put a 10 wide on like a single rear wheel truck. Should i go 12? can i do this and not need wheel bearings every 10,000 miles?

For those like me that need to see a picture, here is what the front will look like

Fronts and tears won’t match up. As far as bearings every 10k, no. Fronts were designed for dually. Removal of the adaptor, compatible with SRW.

Having said that, I don’t know if them front offsets will wreck your bearings but most likely it won’t.

What’s the purpose of a wider rim/tire in front?

The biggest issue with big tires on a dually is the width of the dually wheel. Second is the space between rear inner sidewall and leaf. I run 285/75R16 all the way around with a 2” spacer in the rear (could have gone 1” to 1 1/2” but then the rear studs need to be cut). One of my close friend ran 295’s 305s and 315s (if I remember correctly) all bigger than mine and all had irregular wear. Fronts chewed up the shoulders and tears the ate up the center treads. He tried srw in front and while it did fix the wear issue his steering was poor and it rubbed on the leaf.

It can be done but it’s not practical if you tow or driv it a lot. I’m a contractor and drive mine daily, I rotate every 5-7k mi and get same or better tire life than 235’s.

What ever you do if running wider tires in rear get an inflation chart for the rear so you know how far you can deflate the tire.

First two pics are front tires turned to lock. Second two are rear.

Front tires got replaced on road hazard warranty and have 10k mi rears are at 24k mi and will be replaced next week.

Well coming back to this thread. I'm looking at doing Pro Comps
. 16x10 in the front and rear but i'm not sure if that can be done. Back spacing is 4.5 so i feek like i could legit run these but I'm looking for insight.
