ball joints

what are your thoughts on ball joints. I currently have moog that have about 75k on them and still good. I heard that moogs quality has gone down hill. What is a good one that will hold up to 35's. Is spicer any good? I have XRF tie rods now and the seem good, what about their ball joints?

Never used spicer for ball joints, but if they are as good as their u joints they should be pretty solid. Haven't heard about moog going downhill. I use moog for front end repairs on guys trucks at my hunt club, rebuilt the entire front end of my f150 with em, and use em on a late model and a dirt track race car, always been happy with the quality. I just stay away from store brand front end parts, especially master pro, not worth the cardboard they come in

I go with spicer over Moog ball joints since they are OEM mfg parts for the front ball joints on the dana 60

I was not at all impressed with my MooG Tie rod ends the drag link ends were ok

Spicer makes the best factory replacement ball joints in my opinion and I would run Spicer over Moog. Moog isn't what it used to be a lot of there stuff is made in China now. If you want upgraded ball joins then the Danatrac pro steers are hard to beat.
