Not too shabby. Do the holes still line up for the front hooks?

Agree, if about 2" or so inches were taken out and rewelded I think it would be close to a perfect fit. I think if I still had my 99-03 front end I would def. take it to a fab guy and have him not only do this but fill in some of the bottom bumper and maybe fab in some holes for fog lights.

I am glad I found this thread, I just tried to put the same bumper on my 2000 tonight. I had to take the tow hooks off and I was dissapointed that it didnt fit at all, I have an 05 grille in it now so tomorrow night I will but my factory grille back in and try again. Looks like my 05 grille hangs down to far.

It looks good! That would make a great alternative for the 05 conversion. There's a few on ebay but the shipping is near $190! Mohlson, that sucks. I was hoping the 05 grille would fit. Looks like there's a lot of clearance there. Maybe you can loosen the bolts and the bumper come down? Please post more pics. I'm in need of a new rear bumper, so maybe a new front too!

Not to bad, I like it! Just take off the air dam or get a smaller one and it would be awesome. Nice looking truck.
