Update head lights

I found a guy that takes 05-07 housing and installs Morimoto mini H1v7 projectors with xentec bulbs. They are really bright but I read on here that HID bulbs donít get hot enough to melt snow. I live in Wisconsin so that is not acceptable. Anybody have any experience with these? Never drove with projector lights or HID

Led won't melt snow, hid will, poorly made hid ballasts melt due to bulb heat. One downfall to hid is the bulb warm up period

another thing to consider is if yohu drive in hilly terrain or in the mountains...projectors suck
the cut off is so extreme you are driving blind at the bottom of every dip in the road
if you live and drive where its flat...they are great
