It should not cause any issues unless it is messing with the 5v ref circuit. Just unplug it. Truck will run without it.

More likely that 1280...

Have you cranked it enough? If the HiPres Oil system is full of Air (because you've removed the injectors and drained the rails) it takes some time to purge out through the injectors themselves.

Your 1280 says you have Low pressure in the system.

yes the hubby has primed it that's what my husband thought was wrong with it losing its prime... he has pushed air thru the fuel pump fuel bowl filling up everything like it should now we he puts a shot of starter fluid"(I know terrible thing to do....)" on it it will start for a brief second n die again

either I dont know how to operate this scanner or I gotta buy software to do a buzz test I think that will tell me if injectors are all working because this all happened due to the hold down bolt for the injector broke n the injector came out hitting the valve cover truck started bucking n shut off n dumped fuel behind the exhaust

No, no, no,,, you misunderstand me. This is Not about Fuel it's about the HiPres Oil that drives the injectors. You introduce Air into the system and it can take considerable cranking to replace that air with oil (often needs to be drive 50-100mi, once running, to purge it all).

Starting Fluid is a big issue, especially with a working GP system. Either use something else (break cleaner etc.) or disable your plugs.
