E4OD B&M Shift kit

i know this has been well talked about around other sites & forums. but i am planning on ordering a B&M shift kit & installing myself. Are the instructions clear? i never really messed with a transmission thats one thing i absolutley know very little about. When i drop the VB check balls will go everywhere right? is it clear where they go back in? my truck has a tuner on it & its always been laggy & the shifts slip when romping on it. Id pay someone to do it but i just baught a house & dont have that much freed up money.

I like the Transgo kits better than B&M. Instead of installing a shift kit I would highly recommend just pulling the valve body and send it to someone like Brians truck stop. He can rework it so that you would be much happier with the shifting. The other thing that can be done is getting a custom chip with the shift points you want plus increase line pressures.

i was going to go with the Transgo but i read alot of people liked b&m better. & sorry i did forget to mention that it was chipped already. its a ts6 i belive. it seems to slip alot more than it should, it wants to shift about 3 gear but than will runup the rpms & shift later. i just know its wearing in the transmission & i do have a heavy foot because i love the exhuast. just trying to further prevent something from happening. i will have to look into about the VB! really wanted to do it myself though, might feel accomplished lol.
