I would run it.
You can search the interwebs and find dimensions for a pressure test jig.
Just say no to the roofing tar. Lol

I'd say that little bit of fin damage should have no effect. As long as it isn't deep enough that it would have hurt the cooling tubes.

thanks
it's not very deep=kinda weird imprint to find in there, a complete 4-sided nearly square imprint... coolant side.
gonna POR-15 the middle of the oil cooler and call it new.

you'd think i could have coordinated steering shaft change out et. al. last year with engine out.
but i got so overwhelmed with pieces parts was afraid to take anymore apart lest i forget "what-goes-where"....

random question, though i am genuinely curious what people think. I want to know how you guys would place for a value on my black 97 CCSB. I know i'm asking a bunch of enthusiasts, so you maybe place more value than someone else. I realize it is a 20 year old truck with dings and dents, i also live in an area between the rust belt and the rust free southern trucks. it's not super speical or rare. i also realize with a PSD it would be worth ~$5000 more.

97 CCSB 460/e4od, 145K. 4x4. XLT. rust has been fixed. dings and dents here and there. mostly original paint. drivers seat is showing some wear and has what looks like a cigarette burn. carpet has a few stains. only mods a D60 swap (with a locker), 4" rear blocks, and a true dual exhaust. guys wants to trade a 95 350 RCLB, 4x4, 351(motor has 20ish K) , auto (needs to be replaced), 200K, no major rust, one big dent and cash for mine.

this one
