Sorry about the hiatus boys. We lost our son this summer so business has not been as usual for us. Just kind of getting back to our "normal" lives again.

I scrolled back a few pages but not all of them. Anything interesting going on?

New to the Powerstroke gang. I was wondering what i should do next my truck. I have a 97 ext cab long bed 4"lift with 35's it has straight pipe and a newer tranny. Would like to get decent MPG but have good power. Thanks

well that depends on what you want your truck to be and what your definition of "good power" and "good MPG" is. are you shooting fot 350hp or 500+? do you think 16 MPGs is good or do you want 20+?

lifts and big tires kill fuel economy. what gears do you have?

personally i hate, hate, hate the TTB under the 250s and first for me would be swapping in a straight axle. i like using the OBS style D60, but you can do a SD axle swap either 99-04 or 05+

I hated my TTB until I installed the RSK lift. Rides nice now and the shocks still need to be upgraded.

As far as good power and good economy you can have both with the correct setup but you will likely need more than a newer transmission to hold the power. Is it an auto or stick?

Old turbo finally being pulled. To make way for S369sxe.
