I think you are right. I looked at for a while this morning but couldn't put my finger on it.

What I did to my OBS today......

I hauled some precious cargo with it.

I brought my new born baby daughter home in it ...

Her first ride in a vehicle was in my OBS. Shes Happy , healthy , and home safe. It feels so awesome.

Congratulations! I hope she will have many fond memories riding in an obs, I know that I had a lot of good memories in one as a kid.

Thanks! I do plan on creating plenty of fond memories to her.

The first she won't remember but it happened at the hospital today. I was idling in the front of the hospital while we got the baby strapped in and the security guard was like " um are you gonna be moving soon because the fumes from your truck are coming into the lobby " I was like 'yep moving out soon' . Then I thought to myself, isn't almost every ambulance a diesel?! Like they're new to a diesel idling in front of a hospital. Give me a break.

Mom and baby are asleep now and I'm basking in the euphoria of fatherhood. Which , consequently , is preventing from being sleepy.

Congratulations! What a wonderful feeling.

I remember my twins' first ride in the OBS (they'll be two in march) down to the shore.
My wife was worried about shaking baby syndrome the entire time. I convinced her that they loved the vibrations of a lifted truck. It helped them sleep!

No, although I tried.
We actually named her Layla Corinne . It's the combination of the two names of the sisters in the movie Big Daddy. Crazy to think that movie is 15 years old this year! But since that movie came out , I've always loved those two names together and told myself if I ever have a daughter that would be her name. Mom agreed .

Huh, riding in the truck has the same effect on our cats. We call it the "Powerstroke lullaby".
