Different sounding on 95 f350 powerstroke

When l changed out my replaced my tail pipes , muffler and converter with 4inch down pipe and muffler l had a whistling sound and it sounded good. But after l had the fuel pump and HPOP changed out l don't hear it hardly now is there a problem somewhere l need to check. Other than that it runs great. I just like hearing that whistling sound.

HPOP shouldn't have a direct affect on the turbo whistle. Is your power still good? Only way it could affect the whistle is if the injectors weren't getting enough oil and choking out power. Fuel pump has a similar effect, if it isn't holding sufficient pressure.

the factory restricted exhaust quieted down the deep tone of the motor.
after opening up the system it makes the truck have a louder/deeper tone and drowns out the whistle sound.

If you want a whistle, then upgrade turbo wheels.
