need some assistance on a couple issues

hey folks, 89 7.3l crewcab project is coming along nicely.
so far i've done the front brake calipers, 3G alternator, yanked the old gp's for beru, new batts and cables, fresh oil & filters, new coolant and SCA, still brain-working the electric fan idea.

anyway, that first start of the day or if i let it sit for more than 5 hrs or so
i've got to crank it for a few to get the fuel pressure back. after that no
problems. i've pulled the filter off after letting it sit over night and its only
about 3/4 full. but i can't for the life of me fine the leak.
now, how do i go about tracking down a leak somewhere in the fuel system?

second question, how in the heck do i get my front axle pivot bushings out?!?
i've changed them out on my 86 gasser without too much cussing, but the
bushings on this truck are not cooperating at all.

and lastly, where can i find a winch bumper for this old truck?

thanks!

So, it sounds like you are getting fuel in like you said. A common issue with the IDI's is the lines running between the injectors get cracks over time and air infiltraits. You can buy a fuel injector instal kit, and it will come with all of that to fix it, and its fairly cheap, and way easy to do.

I dont work on the bushing on these rigs for these purposes you listed, because they are hard to get out. You just gotta work on it, eventually they will come out.

I would make one, or just google for one, I dont think you will find one for your specific year truck, you might have to mod it now.
