Let the noisey pinion bearing go too long and the pinion yoke has sheared off... I've seen many posts about converting an open diff to LS/locker but none for the reverse. I want to convert my stock 10.25 LS with 4.10s to an open diff with 3.55s. Has anyone done this? Do I need any special parts or just a new rind and pinion and install kit (bearings, seals, etc.) Thanks for any help!
