WOW! That was probably the most un-called for thing I have ever just read.

If you could find a parts truck pretty cheap(a wreck from a salvage yard) you could come out pretty good. Good Luck

Yeah, arnt trolls great?

The biggest problem with finding a truck from a salvage yard is most of them are there because they are non runners...

If it were me, I'd do a Cummins 12V. For the simplicity and the payoff vs money spent.

If it were a daily driver, I'd look for an 89-93 12V. For power, a 94-98.5 model.

This dude is doin it with all top of the line parts, and careful labor, with no deadline. But he'd be the guy to talk to about doin the Cummins.
