we had a idi ford with the 7.3 non turbo it was a dog but man it could pull a house we rolled back the odoameter at 500,000 and when we sold it had another 259,000 on it it kept thrown belts lik crazy we finaly figure the crank was walkin and causin the belts to break so that truck did us well 759,000 never rebuilt

I want one of those, they look cool to me. I know it'd be dead in the water if I was to try to get it on the freeway but they just seem cool to me.

Good ole IDI's. Keep clean fluids in them and they should last forever. I've heard of a lot of IDI's making 500,000+ miles. Your is another example.

My '93 non turbo has no issues getting on the frwy. A turbo would be nice, yes.. I just need to find the right deal. I have never had to drop a gear to get her to go...

yea ours was slow as hell but could pull any thing it ever had behind it 4 door long bed
