You have to pull the pan and replace the solenoid that ends in a letter U - see above pic - for even better shifting - also replace the 1's on both sides - you will be happy.

I'm having these issues as well with 1-2 up and 2-1 down and 3-2 down. Which solenoids should be targeted. You mention to replace both ones? When I look at the valve body there are only 7 solenoids that stick out yet you have 8 in your kit? I haven't removed the entire valve body so would this be required to replace both 1's? Any help you can offer is appreciated. First post, long time reader.

MEMMEMCHA, Go back to page 4 on here.
Look at the pictures i posted.
Its the one that is shown as number 2 on the pic - C26.
That one is probably marked with a letter U At the end on the number- letter sequence - when u pull it out.
99% of the time - that 1 solinoid is the culpret -

Keep us posted. I never got around to tackling mine before I had to head out on a deployment... need to get to this in June when I get home to the truck.

The tuner didn't fix it, had them do the TSB and that was the fix.

ive got 143,000 miles on my truck its been tuned for a year and a half with H&S Mini Max about 2 months ago it started slamming into second gear up shifting or down shifting. It has gotten more frequent. Any Advice would be great!

Read my post #30, your having the same issue that I had last summer. If you change the solenoid that does the intermediate clutch for 2nd and 6th it'll fix it. Your better off with that mileage to do a fluid and filter change since you gotta drop the fluid anyways.

I'm having the same problem with a gas engine. 6 speed and it hesitates from 1 to 2 gear; then sometimes jumps to 4th.

I am looking for the correct SSC and SSA solenoid part number. I know this post is a little old but can anyone help me out with that?
