CEL P2264

My truck just popped CEL P2264. I have Forscan Lite on a tablet so when it showed:

===PCM DTC P2264:00-28===
Code: P2264 - Water in Fuel Sensor A Circuit

Status:
- Previously Set DTC - Not Present at Time of Request
- Malfunction Indicator Lamp is Off for this DTC

I pulled over looked for the water in fuel light on the instrument cluster (did not see it) and shut off the engine. Just to put this out there I drain my water separator at least once a week. Luckily I was taking a jug of waste fuel and oil to the recycle center so I drained the separator. I will check that jug in the morning to see if water was actually in it plus I drained a mason jar full when I got home (did not make it to the dump). Strangely two more codes were also present:

===PCM DTC P203B:00-EC===
Code: P203B - Reductant Level Sensor A Circuit Range/Performance

Status:
- DTC Maturing - Intermittent at Time of Request
- Malfunction Indicator Lamp is On for this DTC
- Test not complete

Module: Powertrain Control Module
===END PCM===

===OBDII DTC P203B-C===
Code: P203B - Reductant Level Sensor A Circuit Range/Performance

Status:
- Confirmed - malfunction is confirmed

I have read that this has to do with a malfunctioned DEF level sensor or heater going bad.

I won't be able to get to the dealer until Friday. Anyone with experience with these coming on simultaneously?

Just got it back from the dealer

The dealer fixed my issues. It was the DEF heater which is mentioned in a TSB and the sensor for the water separator. I have attached a copy of the work order. Like they always do, the suggested a few other services. I know the dealer charges for their work but I was surprised at the costs

fuel filter change: Dealer charges $332.73
I can do it in less than 30 min if I take my time and the parts are around $55

4 wheel alignment: Dealer charges $144.29
I made one call and got a quote of $75

Brake system flush: Dealer charges $158.89
I can do it for the cost of the fluid in 30 min. I am going to buy a pressurized bleeder kit but will still come out less than $150 and I'll be able to use the kit multiple times on all my vehicles.

It's always wise to shop around unless your time spend not doing the service yourself is worth more.
