Horrible MPG during and after regen

My truck is still fairly new. 2015 with 2100 miles on the odometer.

No issues what so ever except the turbo lag. Not sure what the acceptable "lag time" should be for these trucks.

But anyways I do a mix of driving. City and highway. Enough for the truck to properly regen. When it does regen and afterwards I notice the truck runs like crap. And my mileage goes down. Way down. Is that normal? It returns back to normal after the truck has been shut off.

I'm saving up some money so I can tune and delete it. This dpf crap is complete BS

Hey we have a 15, it's my wife's truck basically, because I drive a 6.0. Anyway it only has 6000 ish on it. I've noticed the lie-o-meter freezes when it's doing the regen. Like the other day we were driving down the freeway and when the regen started I could see the green bar was way lower than the average mile per gallon mark for like 20 minutes, but the lie-o-meter never dropped the average, kind of funny. The truck runs strong, we really like it. MPG around 13 city and the best I've seen is 16 to 17 on the freeway. Can't delete do to inspections, and warranty, but would like too.

Same thing happens with my 6.4. I think you found the solution though.
