Lightbulb Low fuel pressure warning. No check engine light

history: I think I got bad fuel about 4 tanks ago. I had new filters in (500 miles on them) then went and filled up. Half a tank in I started it in the morning and got the message. No loss of power.

I changed the filters and put some additive in fuel and topped it off. For the last few tanks I have been using additive.

Today I get the low fuel pressure message while sitting. The new filters have about 900 miles on them.

Could it be my fuel pumps are going? I'm getting a pending code of P008a still no check engine light still runs well.

I've been wanting to upgrade fuel system but was hoping to do it this fall.

Any input would be appreciated

UPDATE:
After changing the filters the second time and running a full bottles worth of the standyne treatment I didn't get the low fuel pressure message. About a week later after a 300 mile trip message pops up again. I was about to go buy some new filters and swap again. That was the last time it came on.

Today I get home from work and smell/see diesel dripping from middle onto driveway.
Pop the hood and see that the fuel pressure switch is "wet". I unplug it and fuel comes out.

I assume it was going out and thats why I got the message. I didnt get the message when it was leaking though.

here is where it is located

Part number BC3Z-9S599-C
It comes with a new connector that has three wires mine only had two. I just hooked them up how they were.

hopefully this will help someone out.

I will update if I get low fuel pressure message again.
