Boat launch brakes dragging?

Anybody else noticed? When launching either of my boats, one weighs about 1500lbs and other 7000lbs, there is obvious dragging of the brakes as I begin to pull up the launch. This is after I have used the park brake and then release it and begin to press accelerator, as truck begins to move I hear the brakes drag a bit. Was just wondering if anyone else had this issue and brought in before I take the down time.

It's the "Hill Start Assist" feature. From the Ford brochure:

Also with the Hill Assist feature, Super Duty® holds the brake on an incline to help prevent backward roll when switching your foot from the brake to the gas, giving more confidence to tow the big rigs.

It holds the brakes for about 2-3 seconds tp give you time to push the accelerator.

Thanks for the heads up. Curious if the local dealer would have known anything about it, as I know this feature went under radar for me. Did a search and found a video that shows it in action. Once again...thanks for the speedy response.

Probably not. When I picked ours up on Weds night I asked the salesman about the E-Locker and if there was anything that I needed to do to make it work and he said, "I don't think so, it is all automatic."

After talking to my friend in KC with the exact same truck he told me I have to pull out the 4X4 switch and it will lock the differential.

I haven't read the manual yet, it is on my list for the week.
