2016 F-250 Cranks but won't start

So I go out to start my truck this morning; I turn the key to the on position, everything seems normal, turn the key and the truck cranks but won't start. The engine is cranking fast and strong as it should and there's no weird lights or messages on the dash. It has never done this before; I parked it yesterday afternoon, and nothing strange happened or out of the blue. I do want to mention that it is 24 degrees outside; I don't know if that has anything to do with what's going on. I'm no mechanic, but it seems like a fuel issue. Any help with this would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Start with basic stuff. When the key is in the ON position, do you hear the fuel pump under the truck running? (its right under by the drivers side door on the frame). If it is running does it sound like it is struggling? If its running and sounds good, get a clear container and drain the separator on that same fuel pump. let it settle and look for water/contaminants.
