OK I got a Donaldson muffler. It is very heavy. Did you add any extra support for the muffler when you installed?

Do you happen to have any pictures of the muffler installed under the truck with the Flo-Pro kit you installed? I did my DPF delete today and installed a 5" SS Flo-Pro kit. I purchased a Donaldson M090535 muffler and was just curious as to how it will fit and what i should be thinking for the setup once I get to installing the muffler.

I have seen the picture earlier in the thread, mainly wondering if you have one that closer and maybe from either side, underneath and clearance from driveshaft and frame rails....

Thanks!

I had just a delete pipe on my truck and for my taste it was too loud at idle, while putzing around town and I had a drone at around 40-50.

I know a lot of people might think the delete pipe only isn't that different than stock, but my experience was it was noticeably & annoyingly louder than stock.

A member here, Drunk on Diesel, suggested I install a Donaldson muffler (Muffler 4" In 4" Out, M085171, Donaldson - Ryder Fleet Products) and thank him later.

Well it's later and thank you!!

The truck is SO quiet at idle, there is absolutely no drone at all and its quiet just driving around. It's stock quiet in my opinion - I can hear myself think. It still sounds awesome when I get on it and you can still hear the turbo.

Very satisfied!
So, you’ve had this on here for a while now. How has it held up? Do you know of any difference between the 40 inch and 52 inch (IIRC)? Anyone else?

I have been deleted for a couple months and really dislike the muffler that came with the AFE exhaust.

Thanks,

Cale

I'm about to buy this muffler, I can't take the noise any more with just the straight pipe.

What type of clamps did you use to install it? Are they lap joints or butt joints?
