I'd double pre-wrap a NoLimit before I'd add a snorkel.

I figured that would be the response.

I'll get a Prefilter from NoLimit.

However, I still like the look of the AEV. BTW, they have no plans to focus on other brands. Just Jeeps and Rams.

They can't drive in the water anyway look at the sank thread. You'd have to replace every connection and computer if you went anywhere deep enough to need a snorkel.

LOL...I was more looking to put it higher than the dust on the oilfield locations I work at and leave my truck idling at. Not interested in putting my truck in water, I have a CJ7 for that.

You will only lose performance and mileage with a snorkel.

Iirc, it's been proven before on other vehicles.

Higher than the dust on your location?
All my peterbilts have intake levels higher than your snorkel would be, as do all my frac, cement, and acid pumps and we still have to shake the dust out of the filters at least once a week or two or the filter minders kick in.

I check the filter on my 450 about once a month and knock the dust off. It idles most of the time. The minder isn't usually past the first line, occasionally it is, but you're not going the help anything, dust wise, with a snorkel. You're better off having a water hauler do dust control than cut holes in your truck.
