Drilled tiny holes and used fishing line.

Still liking the retrofit? Anything you would change? What shrouds did you go with? What length of LED strip?

Honestly one of the nicest things I have done. No one on the road has the same lights as me, which is awesome. I believe I did the 12" profile pivot LED strips and I have Apollo 3.0 shrouds.

Some lessons learned are be careful cutting and getting everything to line up...it is kind of an art to get the beams to be perfect. I also know if you mess around with the existing lights enough that chrome on them will flake off, so you have to be careful with them.

I purchased the Mini H1s through retrofit source. If I had to do it again I may do the Minids2 5.0s instead...but I still like what I did.

This will be my second set to do so I hear you on the lessons learned. I am going with the D2S 5.0s this time. I love my current retrofits but they are my original assemblies and they have taken a beating with rock chips and what not. Thanks for the help. I will be shopping Black Friday for my parts.

Guessing the upper shrouds took some trimming to fit along the top and bottom?
