I feel like there is a similar thread somewhere, so this may get merged.

Figures, they came out with a good set when I get rid of my truck. Looks good and I'm sure they're great, but that's a lot of moolah.

No joke. 1,100+ for headlights? That is absurdly expensive.

I read through the installation instructions. What I like about them is that they have a separate DRL harness that illuminates the "C" brighter than when it's on as a parking light. That's been one of my biggest complaints about the Recon "C" bar lights, you can 't tell they are illuminated during the daylight hours.

Yea, people have spent way more than $1,100 on HID retrofit headlights for these trucks. Hell, when I get these installed, they will be my third set of aftermarket headlights.

No doubt these will be top quality and 10000 times better than Recon (what a joke) They definitely look cool and as stated I like how the DRL bar is separate.

When I was running around yesterday just so happens a local truck +17 had that version installed. Same stacked multi-LED lens, same sequential LED turn signal. Looked decent for the moment I was running by.

Quote:
A parallel row of amber LED's encompasses the entire surface area of the white DRL, and when activated - runs in sequence towards the outer vertical edge of the housings.

The DRL "C" on my Spyders are bright "enough" to see during the day. I did have to swap out the low and high beams for LEDs/Sylvanias and that was the only bummer . All in all for the Spyders including the retrofit LED swap...$420 all through Amazon. So far I'm pleased with them. Also got the taillights.

As for the TRC lights:
Don't like how the DRL switches to yellow for the turn signal similar to those "switchback" tow mirror lights

I will wait to see pics of them installed by members before I consider pulling the trigger.

Got these installed last night...wish they came in the standard chrome finish. Huge improvement in light output over my previous morimoto retrofit in the stock housings. Drl wasn't bright with ignition on but hopefully they go brighter when the truck is in drive.

Need to disable the drl coding still with IDS
