Front Tow Hooks Alternative

Hey I installed the curved light bar which eliminated my tow hooks and was curious if there was something else I could install just in case i were to get stuck? I go to Glamis sand dunes and used to have a smaller toy hauler and never got stuck but i recently purchased a much larger one and now Im a little worried. I may go back to the 20" light bar so if you have some OEM stock tow hooks let me know.

Thanks

way to choose form over function.

I'm sure you know a fabricator, have them weld you something on the frame and box it in.
That way you have a trusted point to use.

Yeah She's a pavement princess so I wasn't too worried about it.

Just do what I did, then you have your lightbar, and strong tow points.

I went with a 20 bar, kept my tow hooks, and added a front receiver hitch. Also swapped to a 2wd air dam for more clearance.

has anyone had "law enforcement issues" with running that big LED on the front bumper like that ?

I received a strong warning about it.

if they dont have the DOT stamp on them, they are illegal. from there it all depends on what the local law enforcment feels about it.

Having the front hooks can be nice, but just something to think about: most of the older trucks didn't have them... could always throw a strap around the axle and give it hell! Although, a hook is convenient. I added two on my truck when i did the bumper.
