New Headlights

Picked these up on eBay. Really happy with them so far. No night time experience yet as I just put them in today. The DRL tubes are super bright though and can bee see in daytime. The company that makes these did a really great job, the wiring plugs into your factory harnesses. Not like other companies where you have to splice into your harness.

I realized I got a bonus feature while unpacking. The LED's for my low beam's are RGB, so I can download an app and change the color's of them while the parking lights are on, hence the blue in the top bulb. When you turn your lights on though, the bulbs go back to their normal 6000k color. I like the fact I actually have a high beam bulb now, which is really bright. My old LED's weren't that good with the split low/high feature, though my low's were plenty bright.

Anyways, see below. Will update with night time photos after.

Looks good! At first glance I thought it was a GM truck though lol, I have a similar style on my '06 and have been debating on doing it for the '11. You got a link to those?

Ha, stopped by and showed my Dad, he said the same thing. Though I have seen '17+ Super Duty's with aftermarket lights that look just like them, with the dual bar's. Here is the link:

I might be upgrading on this truck too lol. My only complaint on the '06 is they are projector or what ever headlights with bad light output. For some reason my King Ranch doesn't have LED's so I've been thinking of doing new bulbs but since the truck is black I might just get the new housings too as those LED tubes makes it look newer. Still kinda on the fence though since I like OEM.

I wasn't aware you could have projector style headlights that were "LED", interesting.
I've been using led bulbs in the stock housing and I'm very happy but would like to have drl as well.

Keep us updated when you get a chance to use them at night.

Yea, rule of thumb has been to use HID in a projector because of the cut off. But the newer style LEDs are getting to be very good with that as well.

New Headlights

Those are painfully sexy. Iíve been saying I was going to go to something like this for a couple years now. Can you get a picture from the cab of the cut off and light output? Iím curious to see.

ETA: I missed that last line.
