Those without LED HeadLights

You should get some! I had to drive in the rain yesterday and I usually couldn't see anything because the factory lights don't light up the reflectors. I installed direct replacement LED bulbs and they're amazing. They don't blind others as they have the cup to direct the light in a factory housing without projectors.

Here's some crappy cell pics but you can see how far up you can see the reflectors glowing bright white. What a difference just swapping the bulbs made! It was raining harder before and generally you can't see the stripes on the road. So without being able to see the reflectors you're basically driving blind on a 3 lane road...

Night pics in my build thread. Link in sig.

All you did was get new bulbs? You didn't have to mess around with wiring or anything? where did you get those bulbs? I'm interested in upgrading the stock lights because they are not that great. Thanks

These are the bulbs I got

Headlights
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Fogs
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

They plug right in and they have a small ballast that I double side taped to the radiator support. If you get fogs do them while the headlights are out. Takes 2 min...

On the headlights you'll see a small cup on the back 2 bulbs. The passenger side goes up the drivers side goes down so you don't throw light into oncoming traffic and blind them. The beam is straight in front of the truck.

Be careful with the bulbs like those that require fans to cool them, they bite the dust when the fans stop turning. We'd recommend LED bulbs that are just as bright without relying on a fan to cool them, they last much much longer.

When these go out I'll be sure to get some from you. If they last 6months I'll be happy I just didn't want to spend a lot and not like them. Now I Know I like them...

The factory lights on these are laughable for what the truck cost... I know they offer better on the '17 but mine being a '16 it's just like the Sync, way behind the times for such a big company. Even Kia's accessories are better than what we've been getting... For $70k+ the lights should have been the last thing I needed to upgrade!
