Oh hell yeah, DillonC! I like that set up right there. I can finally switch to something better than these Recons. Were you able to delete the orange reflector on the side of each headlight?

Thanks man, haha yeah the recons suck compared to these. Yeah I just popped the orange reflector off and tinted it with niteshade really dark. It's as black as the headlight now but you can still see the light through it when it's lit up.

Yah we are sitting around the -45 w/ windchill area today. Its crazy how the temps can change over night!

Dantron when I painted inside my dodge headlights on my last truck I just painted over the reflectors and you couldnt even tell they were there. These headlights have bulbs in there though so I dont know how that will work. Im thinking that some vht nightshade will be a better option.

Wow that's crazy lol. It's freezing here in middle Georgia and raining so everything's shut down. I can only imagine those temps.

Man there is days I wish we had shutdowns. Working outside in these temps took some getting used to! Everything breaks easy to, I have to warm my truck up overnight in the shop if I plan on doing any work on it.

I think it technically is but I doubt it would ever get you into trouble unless you have inspections and they check for stuff like that.

I got a VI for no mud flaps on my last truck and they never noticed I painted them while going through the inspection.

Posting up cause I dont want this thread to die, I got all my stuff purchased from retrofit source, should be here any day now! Did the mini H1 stage III w/ Gatling Gun 2.0 shrouds, 90mm amber halos for inside the shrouds to run as a turn signal with the switchbacks, got all my paint for color match heads from express paint.

How do you stick the shrouds on the projectors? Just with JB weld or do they click on somehow?
