Gauge mode question

My manual says I'm supposed to be able to view the status of the exhaust filter under gauge mode. I'm supposed to have 4 subcategories first oil and trans temp second compass 3rd exhaust filter status 4th blank. I only have 3 with the exhaust filter status missing. Before I take it to the dealer does anybody have any suggestions?

I as well have only 3 areas. first being oil/trans, second compass and 3rd blank. I was hoping the 3rd might be used to add whatever i'd like to see.

That's so strange when the manual says there should be 4 and the 3rd is the exhaust filter

Yup. I've found a few things misleading about the manual. I cannot figure out how to set the MyTemp so that the heater and heated seats turn on when started remotely.

I did find the exhaust fluid status in another menu though.

What year and model is your truck?

If your truck is 2017, appears you can turn on the exhaust filter status screen. Starting on page 111 of the 2017 owner's manual, if shows you all the various settings and screens your Type 2 display can present to you. if you go to page 116, I believe the Exhaust Filter Status will turn on the Exhaust Filter screen. Try changing this under Display Mode and see if it shows up.

You will need to use FORScan or have a dealer do it. Check the sticky threads General 6.7 Discussion.

Can you add Coolant Temp to Gauge Mode or is it only Oil/Trans (just those two available)?
What is the blank last screen for?

My 2016 is that way as well. Number three to the right is blank. I was wondering if this is just normal on all the trucks - or what. I first thought maybe Ford left it blank for a future software upgrade, but I know that's a pipe dream.

The compass is waste, in my opinion.
