LED Headlights/Fog Lights

Got these from eBay today and installed them...

This:
Stark LED 80W 8000LM 6000K 6K White 3-Sided Kit Dual Hi / Lo Bulbs - H13 9008

And this:
Stark LED 80W 8000LM 3 Sided Kit 6000K 6K White Fog Light H10 9140 9145 A | eBay

Note: I installed these lights to replace a full set of Philips Crystal Vision lights, that I had no issue with.

They are VERY BRIGHT. Especially the fog lights (probably due to no reflector) . Construction seems okay, 2 of the housings were loose out of the package so I tightened them. For some reason the wiring for the fog lights is backwards as compared to the connector, so I was able to just put the aftermarket connector in backwards to the OEM one. I then wrapped it in electrical tape to help hold it together. Just your run of the mill stuff when ordering goodies from across the Pacific pond.
They are slightly harder to install than a regular bulb replacement solely due to the larger bulb size (fan on the back) and the ballast. As always, it is so much easier to do if you remove the grille completely, which is very easy on these new trucks... I know some just loosen the top and pull it forward.
All in all, for the price, I don't think you can beat the brightness, of course for longevity, who knows...

When it's darker tonight I'll get some pics.

I saw your post the other night about ordering these and I ordered the same ones from eBay as you posted. I had the same issue with the fog light connector polarity as you. I just installed mine after work today and they look nice. Pretty nice lights for the money. We shall see how they do in the dark. Thanks for the link

Just got back from a baseball game and let me tell ya... These lights a seriously bright... probably illegal bright. Crazy thing is, the headlights and fogs are so bright, high beams end up being darker because the fogs turn off.

Note: The 1st picture is the only one with the lightbars on.

@RUFFSTUFF I used your link to purchase the LED interior kit that you posted in another thread, and was very impressed with the results!

I plan to buy the LED head and fog lamps that you posted soon. Was there any modifications required to the truck (ie. lamp housing, brackets, wiring harness) to install these LED lights?

Good to hear! Those LEDs were straight plug and play. Let me say again... They are bright. I get people flashing their high beams at me quite often but that just means they see me... Right?

LEDs in stock reflector housings is not the smartest nor courteous way to go. If you want better lighting with out blinding other drivers go the projector w/hid route. Sorry hate to be that guy but it can be dangerous for other drivers

Do you think these would work in a 2013?...I know the site says only up to 2010 but I would think there isnt a different plug or set up with the 2010 vs a 2013.

Hate away. My dogs haven't said they don't like them so you're outnumbered 3 to 1.

There isn't a difference. My 2010 is the same as 2015.
