Understand that. My property is all slate rock, and crystals cover with a thin layer of top solid and grass. It is some of the slipperiest stuff i've been on.

I got a buddy that opened up a tire shop. I've always like the toyo, and Firestone destination A/T tire. But he let me have a great deal on these. 10k on them so far. they are friggen awesome. One of the best I've every owned. Ill take them over the Toyo open country any day now. And they are 2/3rds the cost.

I looked over at HERCULES tires & notice they don't have street/highway tires. Since my truck is a 2WD, and i do city driving 99.9% i rather have street tires for braking, handling, wet traction, & MPG

I've done some testing on these. Don;t get me wrong there not a street performance or a long haul trucking tire. They hold there own for sure.
1/10 scale.

Dry Pavement(roll) 7
Dry traction 10
Wet braking 9
wet traction 8
Snow 1-6 inch 8.5
snow foot+ 5.5
Gravel 9
mud 7
sand 7.5

Towing 10k 7.5. Little soft untill you put 70 psi or so

for whats its worth

Yes they do. They have several. Iron man Radilal A/P
Iron man RB LT
and Hercules Terra trac HTC

Also, from what i hear. this was the owner or brother of owner for cooper-tire. Apparently he wanted better tires.

This is the wire you have to find. It lowers the ABS module which it turn operates advance trac Advance trac and ABS sucks for off road. In the sand the ABS could make you kill someone or yourself. I hit the brakes and the pedal goes to the floor.and the brakes do not work. I knocked off my airdam because I was going down a sand dune and when I hit the brakes it just kept going and when I got to the bottom of it we had picked up speed enough to rip the air dam off. So I decided that it was important to do the mod instead of trying to get the fuse out everytime I wanted to hit the dirt. So here we go.
Awesome, thanks for posting this. I've been headed down this path, but I hadn't gotten to identifying the wire colors/labels yet. I do think that I will wire my locker to a separate switch so that I can control it separately. I may decide that I want the TC off but not have the locker on. Thanks again.

What pin connectors did you use for this? I think this might be the route I take since I don't have an ELD and I'd prefer not to mess with factory wiring (esp ones outside the protection of the cab). Could you take some pics maybe? Thanks in advance

Good luck to this endeavor. Now for the traction control stuff, sure pull the fuse not a problem there. or if you are under 35 just hold button down.

I guess if I wanted to play on the dunes and such i would of bought a raptor.
Haha, and why do I need to install a different diff? Do you think it matters if it is turning at 20 mph or 100 mph? By the way the Raptor has the same manufacturer for the ELD.

This mod is working amazing. Once you flip the switch you get a whole bunch of chimes and dings. I just tap the okay switch and they go away for a little while. The switch for the locker on the 4wd button doesn't work with this mod. also you have to turn off the switch to use 4lo. Just returned from San Felipe, Baja Mexico. We did about 500 miles of dirt and most at high speed. The total trip was about 3000 miles in all. Guess what, my rear end still works. How about that. Here is a shot of us doing about a 100 MPH.
HeavyAssault and Heavy_GD like this.
