Rear axle offset to passenger side, wheel sticks out further

Has anyone else noticed Superduty trucks with rear axle offset??? I've got a new 2018 f250 4x4 and the freakin rear axle favors the passenger side by about an inch (so 1/2" to fix problem, center it). I never noticed it until new wheel/tire package and now it's glaringly obvious.

Damn, never noticed till I read this. Sure enough, just checked and mine is favoring the passenger side by an inch. Still have stock tires so not too noticeable. What would cause this? Surely not an engineering 'oversight'??

Are you sure it’s the rear axle that’s off to one side? It could be the front axle is off to one side especially if it has a leveling kit on it. If a track bar lowering bracket wasn’t installed or an adjustable track bar wasn’t installed it will pull the axle off to one side a little bit. Most people wouldn’t even notice it ,unless you’re driving behind it going down the road. It will dog track an 1” or so.

Put a lift kit and wheels and tires on my 2017 and it was off just like yours. Dealer, could not figure it out. I now have a 2018 and doing lift soon. I'm hoping it is not off.

Interesting. I just bought a used 2017 F350. Doing a non-scientific eyeball test, it does look like the passenger side tire is about a 1/4" extended compared to the drivers side.

well I would bet the axle is all spaced out symmetrically and leaf pads are equal distance from WMS ( wheel mounting surface) but that's easy to check

so whats left to offest the axle ? bed on frame off ?
leaf spring mounts off ? ?
